Meet Dr. Guze

As a board-certified periodontist, Dr. Kevin Guze is an expert in diagnosing, preventing, and treating gum disease. He also performs all aspects of periodontic surgery, including dental implants. Combining experience and the latest techniques and technology, he’s devoted to providing patients exceptional care and delivering reliable, safe, and long-lasting results.

Dr. Guze pursued his vocation by first earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia and completing a general practice residency at Vancouver General Hospital. He practiced in Vancouver for 12 years before hitting the books again at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He obtained a certification in periodontology and a Doctor of Medical Science degree. Dr. Guze also completed his Master’s degree in therapeutic research at Oxford University.

As a lifelong learner with a passion for what he does, Dr. Guze is also an instructor in the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection & Immunity at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. In 2009, he received the prestigious Goldhaber Research Prize. He conducts clinical trials to move inventions from the lab to the patient. In addition, he’s a diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology, fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists. He lectures nationally and internationally. At home, Dr. Guze enjoys playing hockey and tennis, going for hikes, and savoring quality time with his wife and four kids.

Meet Dr. Valerie Liang

Dr. Valerie Liang comes from a family of dentists. Her great-grandfather, grandfather, and great-uncle were all dentists, and she’s proud to carry on her family legacy. Dr. Liang earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut. A recent addition to our practice, she looks forward to a long and productive career at Peabody Dental Care.

Dr. Liang is a firm believer in oral and systemic health. She understands that oral health is closely related to overall well-being and aims to help her patients effectively manage their oral health. Her ultimate goal is to ensure that her patients enjoy a lifetime of beautiful, healthy smiles. Dr. Liang takes great pride in knowing that she has made a positive difference in the lives of her patients.

Meet Dr. Shy Ni

Dr. Shy Ni uses a combination of both traditional techniques and today’s proven technology to focus on treating the gums and bones surrounding the teeth. Her patients are always her top priority, and she strives to ensure their comfort and satisfaction during every visit. As a professional in the dental industry, she takes great pride in making a significant difference in people's lives, not just by improving their oral health but also by enhancing their overall quality of life.

Dr. Shy Chwen Ni received her Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Merced, in 2010. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health, which she earned in 2019. In 2023, Dr. Shy Ni completed her Doctor of Medical Science degree in Periodontology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She has been an invaluable member of our team ever since.

Meet Dr. Ekaterina Chuvilkina

Dr. Chuvilkina’s practice philosophy is enriched by her fluency in both English and Russian, allowing her to connect with patients from various backgrounds and understand their unique cultural perspectives and dental needs. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care that addresses immediate concerns and emphasizes long-term oral health and wellness. Her commitment to continuous learning makes her a trusted dentist at our practice!

Dr. Ekaterina Chuvilkina earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry before completing an internship in general dentistry and residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the school. In 2019, she moved to the United States and was accepted into the DMD Advanced Standing program at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She graduated with honors in 2024 and broadened her expertise to include general dentistry.

Office Manager

With nearly five months at Peabody Dental Care, Dafne Rivera has become a key member of our team by consistently delivering compassionate and exceptional dental care to our patients. She is native to Chelsea, MA, and has strong ties to her community. After leaving her hometown, Dafne attended school, which is where she developed her passion for fostering invaluable connections with patients and caring for their oral health. Her personal interests include spending quality time with her daughter Kaeli and husband Jair and playing the piano at home. These activities provide her with a perfect balance between her professional and personal life!

Anghelika Duclos

Anghelika believes in educating patients to help them feel informed and empowered about their dental care. Her approach to dentistry as a registered dental hygienist centers around ensuring every patient feels comfortable and confident in their smile while focusing on helping them maintain healthy gums. She has been a part of the Peabody Dental Care team for 18 years and is passionate about working alongside her caring colleagues to help patients look and feel their best. Outside of the office, Anghelika enjoys spending time with her husband and children!
